Too hot for you? You could try an Alaskan vacation. It's 58 and overcast. We flew to Okalhoma to pick up Diesel last year in August. I thought we were going to melt. I don't know how so many of you survive the 90 degree weather.

Definitely too hot! I was outside for less than 3 minutes and was dripping wet from head to toe. For us right now it's the high humidity. Opening up the sliding door you get hit with what feels like a brick wall. It's absolutely stifling.
Poor Gunner. He wants to go out and run around, but I will only allow a few minutes at a time. The news just said it topped out at 101. That is TOO HOT!!!

Wow... I know our heat is coming, but we've had such a mild June and a mild start to July.... my time to complain is around the corner, most likely.

I just came home a week ago from an Alaskan fishing vacation, McNelly....rained every day but one! (but I loved it).

Oh ya'll are a bunch of sissies!!! j/k It's mid 90s here in MI but it is nothing compared to the heat and humidity in the keys. And let's not forget our men and women in the sandbox in full gear.

My son is in the sandbox and it was 130 degrees in his last email. He said that it's like opening the oven door, putting your head into it and deeply inhaling.

Oh my!!!

how does heat affect your dogs? Cause eiko goes out the door does his business and SPRINTS back to the A/C once the REALLY COLD weather was gone he changed his mind real quick about sleeping outside it will be interesting to see once it cools off in fall if he starts not coming in at night and sleeping in his dog house!

I only let Gunner out for about 10-15 minutes at a time. He runs around the yard while I use the chuckit to keep him sprinting.
But it's been so hot and humid here that he poops out really quickly. I don't like him being out too long, so we keep it short. But I take him out several times during the day for short stints.

eiko wont even chase toys when its this hot if you throw his FAVORITE frisbee he just watches it fly away turns around and sits by the door! lazy A$$
My wife keeps it about 64 degreese in the house so maybe its just a shock to him walking out into 110 heat index?

i let mine outside and they both head straight to the pool, kati stands in it and zeek lays down in it. when they are inside they are all either laying in front of the fans, laying on the a/c vents or on the kitchen and bathroom tile
