Okay I have been feeding kibble since moved here with not as much access to the fresh raw I had in PA.
Problem number one is evo sold to another company and I am not sure it is for me anymore I am afraid the quality will do a nose dive and dont like where it will be packaged.
Problem two I found today at the pet store is Eagle pack has also been sold to another company and I noticed changes on the bag. They have been bought by wellness.
Problem three Prarie is what I was making do with and seems to agree well with the dogs using the grain free formula. however the store is clearancing it out and they know they are not carrying it any longer and are unsure if the company is not going to be making it any more and I admit I do not know much about the food but sadly so far I am getting desperate for grain free food options here.
I have been looking at honest kitchen lately but not ordered yet can get it drop shipped to me.
Open to suggestions before I start buying large coolers and tracking down nearby meat sources. _________________ “You may write me down in history

I have had a lot of luck with
http://www.naturalbalanceinc.com/dogformulas/allergy.html
this is the limited ingredients formula variety.
They have organics as well.
Maybe giver a whirl?? _________________

K thanks. I guess I never looked at giving them a try because it kind of creeps me out that the product carry an actors name it is hard for me to take it serious.... I know I am weird and it is an odd way to be prejudiced about a food but I guess I will look it over. _________________ “You may write me down in history

You mention worrying that Wellness bought Eagle Pack...is there something bad about Wellness that I don't know about? Wouldn't surprise me because I'm having the biggest struggle finding a food to switch Scout to as well. He is on Wellness Core and looks amazing on it but his poop is always soft on it so I think it might be too rich for him. But if it agreed with him I would be completely satisfied with it.
I've also been searching and came across Primal Raw which I've been thinking about, sounds like a great food but pretty expensive.

Unfortunately California Naturals is what ingredient wise sounds like it would work for him but I'm really really leery of moving to it since P&G bought them Such a sad state of affairs the food industry is in, human and animal! _________________

By "Problem three" do you mean Instinct? If not I would check it out. For Gnash, Instinct is a very good match in all seasons. I say all seasons as when winter changes to summer chances are high that the dog will experience some minor issues, with certain foods the dog does not get any issues. For Gnash, Instinct is that food.

Does Blue not work for you? My girl does really really good on it, never had any food allergies or problems with it. I think the stuff that goes into it is top notch. _________________
